Edge Sculpture - Baby Orangutan 'Oh' by Matt Buckley
Cuter than cute!! The amazing contemporary modern sculpture of a baby orangutan will create a beautiful statement piece that will look fabulous either on it's own or placed with other pieces from the sculptor.
Each sculpt has been originally sculpted from clay, which allows the sculptor to be freer, giving pieces that dynamic and organic feel, stylised by Edge Sculpture.
The finished clay sculpt 'masters' are then taken to be moulded, each subsequent piece will be carefully hand-cast from this mould using marble polystone, with allows a faithful reproduction of detail and texture applied to the original sculpt. The finishing touch is the skilful application of hand-painting and finishing, which brings the sculpt to life.
Matt Buckley, the designer and sculptor of the unique Edge Sculpture range of contemporary sculptures has created this wonderful sculpt of a Baby Orangutan of which 20% of the proceeds will go towards the Jim Cronin Memorial Fund for Primate Welfare and Conservation.
